November/08 Beauchemin d’Eze have a fully operational branch
office in the Dominican Republic serving Canadian,
Quebec and international clients seeking sun
locations for Film, TV Commercial, Video and Still
Photo “shoots”. The firm is already entrenched in
the Dominican Republic’s creative community and has
access to the best talent, equipment as well as to
the most sought after locations on the island and in
neighbouring islands.
 From its
new office in Punta Cana, Montreal Multimedia
Productions, one of the four divisions of Beauchemin
D’Eze, is well positioned to provide clients from
all over the world with the calibre of support they
need to find, negotiate and implement projects that
require exotic and/or international looking

| There’s an
old adage “You can’t make a silk purse out of a pig’s
ear”. Nor can you make a great photo by enhancing a
mediocre picture with endless hours of Photoshop. The end
result will still be an average photo. Moreover, since
Photoshop is now so ubiquitous, anyone with a trained eye
will recognize a “cooked in the computer” picture.
Not that
Photoshop doesn’t play a role in today’s
technology-oriented commercial photography. It certainly
does. But, it should be used judiciously and in a manner

well planned and well shot photo.
